We were so excited to fly to Normandy to visit the German Atlantic Wall that we could barely sleep. On the first day, we went on a trolley tour that only cost 2 euros. We spent hours walking around, touring the beaches, and exploring the cliffs. We stumbled across this tunnel that led to the top of the wall. This was Amy’s favorite part, ever. Next to it was

The invasion overran the French-controlled coastline in Normandy. This building, the German Atlantic Wall, was constructed just before D-Day to protect the area.
